You’re invited to join us for our latest Online Alpha Course which starts at 7:30pm on Tuesday 11th May, running weekly for an initial 5 weeks.

The course provides people with an opportunity to explore the Christian faith looking at faith, life and meaning. After connecting online for a small group of participants and one of our team, each session starts with a 30 minute Alpha video talk followed by a short discussion.

Pastor Steve Ellerington at Oceans Church said ‘We’re really looking forward to the course and it’s an opportunity for people to explore the Christian faith from the comfort of their own homes. It’s very relaxed and people can either listen without even needing to say anything. We look at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Is there something more to life than this’, and ‘Why did Jesus die’.

‘The course really is for anyone wanting to step out and explore faith and meaning. We know that lots of people over this last year have thought more about the bigger questions of life following the pandemic – and we hope that people want to join us. Each session lasts no more than an hour, it’s free to attend, is extremely relaxed and there were some great friendships made following our last course which we ran in September’.
